For the Fourth of July weekend, you’ re all probably thinking one thing: Fireworks. It’s one of those nice, outdoor events that happen each year where everyone, young and old, can look forward to and enjoy. It’s a timeless tradition that we use to get together as a community and celebrate our independence. It’s one of those events where you can lead out the family and enjoy the park activities, while you wait for the spectacular sky show. This weekend is a special one as well, since it’s a long weekend. We’re excited, you’re excited so what’s the theme this week? Well fireworks, of course. Here’s where you can check them out.
Fireworks on the Fourth of July:
Tonight, at Kelman High School, the festival for the American Fireworks Show kicks off with a great run of activities. We’re talking food, children’s activities, entertainment, vendors and fireworks at dusk. This event starts at 6 p.m., so be sure to get ther with your lawn chairs and sit back and relax.
On Friday, from 5-10 p.m., the Tioga Sequoia Brewing Company is having an all ages Independence Day Party. All the grand events that surround such an event are going to be there. Again, be sure to there early to take advantage of all these great activities, as well as to get the perfect spot for the firework spectacle they have planned.
And in Clovis, there is the Clovis Freedom Fest taking place at Buchanon High School. Admission is five dollars and this event kicks off at 5 p.m. with the fireworks taking place at dusk.
