Weekends are our favorite time of the week. We always try to capitalize on this time by enjoying it as much as possible. We take it a step further to ensure our residents are enjoying their weekends as much as possible, too, and that’s why we have instituted this blog. Without further adieu, we are going to jump into our Clovis Area weekends review.
Clovis Weekends: 6/20- 6/22
Friday: The Old town Clovis farmers market is taking place on most weekends, Friday specifically, this season and is always going to be a great time. Tonight, in the Fresno area, is the summer long Comcast movies in the park. This is a free event and is bound to be an enjoyable time. Tonight they are playing Despicable Me 2, and will be a great event for the whole family. It is taking place at Eaton Plaza at sundown. There is going to be local vendors selling their wares, so make sure not to miss out.
Saturday: The fourth annual Summer Peach Party is taking place at the Sierra Nut House at 10a.m. There is going to be a local vibe here, and there will even be a peach themed bistro menu that can be enjoyed by the whole family.
Sunday: Coming up on their tenth anniversary, The Wood Park Shakespeare festival will be putting on their adaption of the famous play “Macbeth.” This is going to be an exceptional time. It’s always nice to get out and appreciate a little theatre, and what better way to enjoy it than by relaxing in the nice weekend weather.
As always, we hope your weekends are as enjoyable as possible. There are a lot of things happening in the next couple weekends, and we like to take this chance to highlight some of our favorite events. Let us know if there is an event, or two, coming up in the next couple of weekends and we’ll put a spotlight on it. Have a great weekend.
